There are personal angels for different individuals. However, this page is going to focus mostly on the more well known Arch Angels.
Michael is often represented as a warrior and is said to harold the other angels. He is also sometimes called the angel of death and is said to give souls a chance to redeem themselves at the end of life. He is also a healer and a defeater of evil. His correspondences include the spear, scales and the sun. His day is Tuesday and his color is royal blue.
Gabriel presides over communication and is connected to the planet Mercury. His symbols are the trumpet, lantern, lily, scroll and scepter. His day is Friday and his color is white.
Uriel is the archangel that rules over the sciences and education in general. He is symbolized by a scroll, book, fire and a chalice. He is sometimes shown with a disc with constellations. His day is Thursday and his colors are purple, red and gold.
Camael is known by several names including Khamuel and Cameel. He is the archangel of war, strength and courage. He is often depicted with a chalice and staff. His day is Monday and his color is a rose pink.
Raphael is the patron saint of marriage, the blind, the ill, doctors and others in the medical field, those suffering from mental illness, shepherds, travelers and youth. His symbols are a book of scripture, a bottle of flask, a trumpet, a staff or a fish. His color is green and his day is Wednesday.
Jophiel is said to carry a flaming sword, although sometimes Camael is said to carry it. He is said to be the archangel of wisdom, understanding, and judgment as well as the patron of artists of all types. His day is Sunday and his color is yellow.
Zadkiel is the archangel of freedom, mercy and benevolence. He is often shown holding a knife or dagger and is connected to the planet Jupiter. His day is Saturday and his color is purple.
